Monmouth Youth Communication Club

MY-CC / MYCC is a 501(c)(3) organization helping students K-12 build strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Through interactive activities and student-led initiatives, members apply communication in real-world contexts while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and peer-to-peer learning.

Guided by local mentors across diverse fields, students gain confidence, adaptability, and civic engagement, preparing them to express ideas effectively, lead with empathy, and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Initiatives

Our three biggest efforts — built with the support of our former members, sponsors, and partners.

Public Speaking & Communication

Interactive workshops and real-world simulations — mock interviews, presentations, and communication techniques — building the confidence to speak up in the digital world MYCC's name is built around.

  • Mock interviews and presentation practice
  • Real-world communication simulations
  • Open to all experience levels

AI Training

Hands-on sessions on how AI tools actually work.

  • Real projects, not just theory
  • Open to beginners through experienced coders

This very website is one of those real projects — one of our members rebuilt my-cc.org from the ground up as part of the program.

Member Firsts

Two of our members just published their very first websites!

Each one below is that student's own first build — their first time carrying an idea all the way to a live site, with AI as a coding partner. Congratulations to both of them!
