Small Groups
MY-CC continues to grow, welcoming new members and reaching out to more youth every year. With diverse ages, grades, interests, experiences, and abilities, everyone has something unique to offer. Meet our pioneers—they’ll connect you with teams that support your growth and show you how to make a difference for others.
Study Squad

Studying is more fun and efficient with the right study buddies. We organize study groups and help connect local students to study partner(s) who meet at public libraries.
Public Speaking

Our public speaking workshops serve local children and teens ages 10-17, helping them build confidence and communication skills. Students also have opportunities to participate in speeches on a variety of engaging and meaningful topics.
Fun Reading

For students ages 6-12 interested in developing stronger reading skills, our groups help students engage with compelling texts while building critical thinking, comprehension, and analytical abilities through guided discussion and thoughtful exploration. Participants gain skills that support academic success across subjects and foster a lifelong appreciation for reading.
Research

For students ages 14-18 who are curious about science and interested in hands-on learning, our program connects participants with mentors who guide them through experimentation and foundational research skills. Participants gain early exposure to STEM pathways while developing curiosity, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in scientific inquiry.
